This billboard poster showcases the Rhode Island Free Clinic and their services. We had to include a bold call to action and make it simple enough that people would be able to gather the most important information for the few seconds of screen time it would have. As simple as it is, this is probably one of my favorite pieces.
Summer Pops– the first poster I designed in my Graphic Design major. Tasked with creating a poster to promote an outdoor jazz band and extra activities, I chose to take a bold approach in designing with very bright, summer-y feeling colors.
This poster came to me in a day-dream around October of last year (2023) Despite not having watched Hotel Transylvania for quite a few years prior, I was extremely excited to create this because of the vibe I was getting from it. I believe the aesthetic inspiration for this poster came from the retro/grain/horror/vintage poster-tutorials that I had been viewing on Instagram Reels for a few weeks. I thoroughly enjoy creating posters in this aesthetic, but in order to diversify my portfolio I try to create a variety of posters.
Rayquaza and Garchomp are both publicly popular Pokemon. With a little inspiration from projects I completed in class and ideas from my significant other, I decided to use the two Pokemon to create posters that could be part of a many series collection. I chose to give these posters a retro feel, and showcase the individual Pokemon’s abilities, numbers and powers.
This “poster” is in reality, a magazine cover. A larger portion of this design was the 3D creation of the main focus of the cover (the car and the road.) It took a significantly long time to create a flying car and a Rhode Island-esque road from scratch. Putting the poster together wasn’t too challenging since I had previously come up with what words and sentences I wanted to put on the front. I chose to design this cover with the company “Popular Mechanics” in mind due to their retro/vintage feeling covers.

The first step of designing this typography poster was to pick a typeface we wanted to represent. At the time, I was a fan of the typeface “Brevia” so I chose to create an interesting poster dedicated to it. There is some information about the typeface, visual representation of some of the letters and all of the numbers and their features are pointed out and highlighted in an interesting way.
